The Fisker Ocean is a cross-over all electric SUV designed by Henrik Fisker, and built by auto manufacturer Magna Steyr, located in
Graz, Austria under contract by Fisker Inc., a company created to provide the adminstrative support to design, develop and deliver
the car. The Ocean was intended to be as eco friendly as possible, using as much recycled materials as possible for much of its
interior and automative plastics for certain exterior parts. The Fisker Ocean line up had 4 models: the limited edition Ocean One, the
Ocean Extreme, The Ocean Ultra and the Ocean Sport. The Ocean One and Extreme models boasted a best in class EPA estimated range of 360

-
Fisker Ocean is the name of the model line. The Fisker Ocean One is the limitied edition version of the Fisker Ocean. The Ocean One
allows the owner to option for the Big Sur Blue matte paint finish. It also includes an Ocean One Digital Signature, veiwable in the
car on the driver settings screen, noting also, the production number of the car. Also included are the One plaque on the exterior of
the car. Both the Ocean One and the Ocean Extreme models feature the Revolove 17.1" touch screen, allowing viewing movies in cinematic mode.

Why did Fisker go out of business?
-
There's a lot of speculation as to the true culprit, but in the end, failing software caused problems that reviewers and even new
owners reported as making the car undriveable in some situations. In one case, during an exhibition drive, the car being driven by
Geeta Fisker stopped and could not be restarted, or even moved. But as reporters commented on the luxurious feel and refined finish
of the car, the negative reviews caused cancellation of orders and the financial drain proved too much, and Fisker declared bankruptcy
and ceased production. Some interesting articles to read on the failure of Fisker:
Fisker Ocean Issue FAQs
-
How do I open the hood?
-
Well, funy thing is, the hood isn't meant to be opened by non-certified drivers. One of Fisker's major mistakes.
See Matt "MTN Ranger" video on this subject: https://youtu.be/yKJiz_LNbqs?si=xRu9LPN8mVdwOXMy
-
How do I charge the 12v battery?
-
See above, first you'll need to be able to open the hood. If you can get that completed, you can do a normal charge positive with positive and negative terminals. Just be careful!

-
How do I get a software upgrade?
-
If you purchased from a local dealer, contact them, otherwise, contact FOA for updates as to when the 2.2 OTA update is pushed: https://www.fiskeroa.com/
-
Where can I buy parts for a Fisker?
-
Parts for the Fisker Ocean are tricky to come by, depending on what oyu need. Several different resources seem to have access to different pats for whatever
reason, namely, some maybe salvagers, other may have had a direct connection. I recommend Tsunami Automotive for some critical parts, and if oyu don't see what
you need, reach out to Fisker Owners Association. From there, try Fisker Owners Group and Fisker Owners Association Facebook groups.
For some smaller parts, many are currently being sold on eBay. Simply search for Fisker Ocean parts.

Who can work on my car
-
See the list of Service Partners on the fisker website: https://www.fiskerinc.com/find-us#us I wouldn't try anyone else, other than if your cousin
has a friend who knows a guy who has a great mechanic. Most mechanics won't touch the car. Even some service partners may do only limited repairs.
One issue is that even the service partners haven't truly been updated on all repairs, and figuring out the difference between the software and
hardware issues can be tricky.

The reader light in the rear seats keep coming on. How do I fix it?
-
This is a problem plaguing a lot of owners, and can be quite annoying if you have passengers in the back seat. There are a few videos on how to
repair, replace or deactivate these lights. Hoestly, it seem simple enough, but after watching videos on the matter, it's quite tricky. I opted
for simply placing black tape over the light. I put painters tape first, then black duct tape, then painters tape. This way, the duct tape doesn't
become permanent, the blue painters tape flows better with the white interior and makes it easier to remove in case I decide to fix it mechanically.
For videos, see MTN Ranger video on Disconnect Rear Reading Light:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jawk2kphI8E
Also see a post on Reddit about a user you fixed this by tweaking the metal pin that's apparently inside the light housing:
